![]() Kendra and Matt moved to New Mexico about a year and half ago from Michigan. Multi- talented and busy and he now has a new rig to cycle outdoors□ He can share his new found purpose and strong beliefs in a way he never could before.Chris also continues to make colorful benches, cornhole games and chairs from wood. He shared that he has rediscovered his Christianity and purpose as he meets people at the gym, Bible study, neighbors and that his challenges ( and personality) draws people to him. He just exudes this positive and presence that draws you in. Amy described Chris’s attitude and presence as “radiant”. Eight years later he has slowed the MS but it has relegated him to a wheelchair. He attacked his disease as he has done with all things in life, installing a trough in his yard to do ice cold plunges daily ( good therapy for his muscles). A self described driven worker, house builder and all around gifted construction guy. They arrived at different intervals so were able to spend quality time with each! A full and memorable CAF time as each had recently received a significant grant from CAF!Ĭhris was a joy to be with, he was diagnosed with MS at 51 years old. We met with 3 challenged athletes and families from 4-7pm last night at a downtown indoor/ out market market called Sawmill ( similar to our Liberty Station in SD). ![]() ![]() Yesterday Amy got Big Red ( her bike) back out and pedlaimg! She rode 35 miles on rail to trails with me and was very strong □♀️ on a beautful day here in Albuquerque New Mexico!! ![]()
